University of Ulster is collaborating with an awarding winning Dublin Company to develop an innovative programme
Left to Right: The University team, Dr. Orla Duffy, Dr. Anne Moorhead and Dr. Diane Hazlett with collaborators from All n One Ltd., Nick Wheeler (CEO) and Philip Lacey. All n One have developed a web based software solution, Business Express, to resolve the in-house issue of coordinating all the activities around sales campaign management. Business Express is designed to be user friendly and flexible with the potential to significantly reduce costs for the client company. Business Express won the Best New Product / Service at the Contact Centre Management Association 2008 Awards.
The researchers at the University have recently completed an externally funded research project from The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health investigating the vocal health of call-centre workers. From this project, the researchers have identified a market gap for a vocal training programme for call-centre workers, which also could be valuable for other professionals who use their voice extensively. The researchers are collaborating with All n One to develop an innovative online vocal training programme hosted on Business Express. The team is currently exploring a range of funding sources for this new initiative including a FUSION application in process.
