CITIZENS INFORMATION PHONE SERVICE (CIPS)

CIPS is the national Citizens Information contact centre. It provides a comprehensive and confidential information service directly to the public.

 

MANAGER – CITIZENS INFORMATION PHONE SERVICE

CIPS is currently seeking to recruit a permanent full-time Manager based in our Cork office.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic environment. Confident decision-making skills, solid interpersonal skills and practical operational experience in a phone service/call centre environment (or equivalent) are desirable.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent position.

Salary scale:  €49,007 - €63,960.  This is an incremental salary scale and is inclusive of two Long Service Increments (LSI)

 

It is anticipated that new entrants to the Citizens Information Service will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale. Incremental credit, should it be awarded, will be based on previous relevant experience as set out on application form.

Shortlisting will be based on application form only (CVs and late, emailed or incomplete applications will not be accepted).  Canvassing will disqualify. 
A second interview (potentially incorporating a presentation) may be held for the highest-scoring candidates at first interview.
